All the usual events are catered for. However if you have a plan for a specific night and need the entertainment to fit, then look no further.

You can tailor your event as you see fit. Additional equipment such various feature & wash lights as well as a choice of effects units are available. Whatever your needs, let us know and we'll do our best to supply the perfect entertainment.

Equipment

All the equipment used is of a very high standard, with any faulty or problematic items either repaired or replaced without delay. The complete array of electrical equipment is Portable Appliance Tested for electrical safety on a regular basis. Sound quality is attained through state of the art players, mixers, amplification & loudspeakers. Careful balance of the controls results in a crisp even sound throughout the room. All of the traditional sound problems are avoided through some of the very latest technology with the knowledge & experience to use them effectively.

Lighting consists of a mixture of ‘wash’ (broad) and ‘feature’ (animated picture) light. The combination of these effects produces an impressive light show. Incorporating the latest digital control system, the show responds to every aspect of the music. Where possible, haze units are used to further enhance the light show. This is becoming increasingly difficult however, as more and more venues begin to prohibit the use of smoke and haze.

All cables are routed away from public access, however where this is not possible, cable protectors and/or security tape is used in order to prevent any possibility of tripping. The speakers and feature lights are mounted on sturdy “telescopic tripod” stands to a height sufficient to clear most people.

The list of equipment is always being expanded to further improve the show. Technical specifications for the equipment we use are available by request.

DJ's

Every DJ that works for us has either been trained from scratch or pre-approved prior to any event. This means that you will get the same high level of service regardless of who is assigned to your party, whilst individual personalities & styles are left to come through.

Delivered in a clear tone, use of the microphone is kept to a minimum. Whilst aggressive and obscene remarks are never made, crowd encouragement and bar calls for instance is all you are likely to hear. All our DJ's are dressed according to the event, polite and have a wealth of knowledge and experience in a variety of functions and music genres. This allows them to adapt to the situation on the dance floor at any given time.

Playlists/Requests

Should you wish to supply a playlist, you are more than welcome although this is not necessary. Our years of experience mean that we know what to play and, more importantly, when.. Each DJ is used to constantly reviewing the situation on the dance floor and will change the direction of music if or when needed.

Covering most genres of music and with a comprehensive current collection, we can cover at least 90% of requests and do so every week. As well as the more mainstream songs, a collection of well known but lesser commercial songs is available. An ever expanding collection means that your favourite track is, at least, only a phone call away. Only two reasons will prevent us from playing every request on the night, either we won’t have your chosen song or we’ll simply just run out of time.
